The HOPE centre is a rehabilitation centre for displaced and vulnerable children based within the Zaatari refugee camp, Jordon.
The camp hosts around 80,000 Syrians who have been forced to flee the war in Syria. More than half of these refugees are children.
In partnership with Human Relief Foundation and Arabian Medical Relief, we deliver therapeutic and psychological therapies for children who have suffered trauma from forced migration.
Our services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, psycho-social support and speech rehabilitation. Our team is made up of physical therapists, occupational therapists, psycho-social support counsellors and speech pathologists.
80% of young people we have seen have been discharged with successful outcomes.
Since 2017 we have provided over 13,000 therapeutic sessions to children and their families.
